Well it is Monday March 14th 2011. Where did the last week go??!! My first week of school was AMAZING! we learned about relaxers but have not done one yet, we studied about having the right attitude can make or break a client and that being polite, happy and professional is more important than actually making someone's hair look nice. I choose how happy I am! no one around me is allowed to determine that! We discussed the the different base patterns that can be used when roller setting hair or using a curling iron, and actually got to try these out! LOVE THEM! Today we worked with a few different heads and finished a style by the end of class! I was so proud of my self! I do have a few burn marks on my fingers from tonight but they are so trivial next to all the awesome things that I am learning.
My favorite thing that has happened so far has to be Phoebe helping me study this afternoon. She is really great at reading. She never gives up on the hard words and she quizzed me on the things that she had just read! She is going to make a great teacher some day!
I think I finally caught up on all the lost sleep from the weekend of birthday fun, but I am going to have to go to bed right now if I am going to keep it that way! Thanks for the continued support and I will do my best to keep this going!! night everyone!

The Big Day
Well today is the big day! I can still hear my self telling people that " o i have 4 weeks" LOL that was a flash of time and here we are! I am so excited to start school!!
I am writing a little pre class blog now and hope to be able to write about the first big day when i get home tonight! I have had so much support with this choice! Luc has to be my biggest fan. That is a huge surprise to me cause I just knew that he was gonna think i was nuts to taking on yet another huge adventure! well this time he is just as excited as I am! He tells me on a daily basis how cool it is that i am going back to school and that i am going to be great at this! I wish there was some way for me to put into words all the warm feelings i get when he talks about it! This is not just a dream goal for me to go to school it is a dream for me to have connected with my husband, my best friend , my LUC!!! Thanks so much baby for all your support. I hope it never changes and that I Never let you down! I love you!!
I am going to pick out my first outfit and get ready! gonna have to redo my makeup now LOL, there will be more and all the feed back i can get the better! i will do my best to update things every week if not more often! So for my last post as a average person.... i bid you adieu!!

Orentation
Today is Tuesday March 1st. I got to go and see what the school is all about! We met the day time instructors and one of the evening instructors. I felt kinda old tonight cause most of the people there were way younger than me but it gave me a new motivation. I was so inspired by the teachers! I would love to some day be an instructor or even just a mentor for the students. I hope that maybe i can be an inspiration to people that want to go after any goal or dream no matter how old or young they are. Last but not least I AM SOO EXCITED!!! I don't think i have ever looked forward to a Monday more than i do right now LOL good night everyone!
